Hi friends and family, sorry it has been so long since our last update. Soon, you should be able to view some pictures and the entire service from Angie's funeral on the blog. We have been working with Jim Strong at Our Savior's, who has graciously helped us out with this (my tech skills need some work). If you were unable to attend the service, you should be able to view this in the next few days. I am planning on leaving the blog just as it is, I think this is the way Angie would like things to be. I also have copies of Angie's journey, a picture and musical presentation, which was made for the service. Some of those who attended may have seen this playing during the reception at church. If you would like a copy, I would be more than happy to mail you one, just contact me at afooshee@hotmail.com
In other news, we have been making plans for the kids this fall at school, and I have been preparing for my new job at Frontier Academy Middle School in Greeley. Every day is a struggle between moving on (what your head tells you to do) and reminiscing and missing Angie so much (what your heart tells you to do). The family has made several trips back up to Estes to visit the cemetery already, and each visit brings new thoughts and insights for me. The kids are doing fine, and we have a new addition to the family, Lily: a 12 week old Papillon puppy. I will try to post pictures when I get some.
A thank you to all who attended and honored Angie at the service. Thanks for all of your support, prayers and gifts throughout our journey together. A scholarship fund was set up and over $10,000 has been raised for the kids college fund.
I'll be talking to you soon, Love Rick and kids

Sunday News
Her family is with Angie at the hospital now. After another exploratory procedure this morning, it was determined that the internal bleeding is not controllable. Angie had a lot of pain yesterday from the fluid building up in her abdomen and her blood counts were not improving. Though risky, Angie is choosing to continue chemo in an attempt to shrink the tumors and stop/slow the bleeding. The chemo will start tonight.

A Quiet day...
After a really busy day on Friday including receiving more blood, an angioplasty procedure and radiation for the spinal cord tumor, Angie is able to rest and recover today. The pressure on her spinal cord from the tumor is causing a lot of weakness which is very frustrating - the radiation will continue over the next several days targeting this area in the hopes of shrinking it and bringing some relief.
The angioplasty procedure showed that there is no specific area of bleeding but lots of small bleeders throughout her abdomen. Angela has received blood and plasma the last several days due to the internal bleeding. Today the levels seem to be stablizing and the hope is that the clotting will start to occur and she wont have to receive so much blood. If the blood levels are stable enough, Angie will start some additional chemo to address the cancer in her abdomen causing so many issues right now.
For today, the plan is to rest and gain some strength so her body recover from the last few days events.
