We wanted to create a way to keep the many loving family members and friends who are praying for Angela and supporting her through this battle informed.
Feel free to check here regularly for up to date information and you can post your comments and thoughts for Angela and her family to read. This is way for all of us to stay informed without the family having to be on so many phone calls and individual emails. Pass on this website address to anyone who would be interested.
There will be three of us coordinating to keep this site current.
Background:Angela had a bad cough and went to the doctor to get it checked out. Through a series of tests over the last week or so, it was determined that she has cancer. Some final test results are expected today (12/3) and this will help to pinpoint the kind of cancer and where it originated. These details are critical to formulating her treatment plan. Tentatively, Angela is scheduled to start chemotherapy this week.

As the first Omaha Wurth child to 'post' I can say for all seven of us, we send our prayers and heart felt sympathy to Angela and the family.
Our big representative was out over the weekend and gave us all an update last night.
I hope it goes without saying, but I will say it to make sure, we all love Angela very much and will be here in everyway we can to support her during her treatment.
keep us posted.

Hi Angie and famliy,
I've been thinking about all of you often lately. Hard to know what to say just yet. Stay strong and focus on the things that count and you'll beat it. You've got a great family behind you and hair is overrated.
Love Neal
I am struggling to find the right words so I will keep this simple: Angie you are constantly in my thoughts, please let me know if there is anything I can do for you or your family, and of course, I love you!
Many hugs and kisses from Omaha. Also more magic berries if you want some. Constantly thinking of you and sending strength. Everyone will be here through all your challenges. Love to all.
Mark
Angie,
I am glad to see my brothers beat me to the punch on the blog. I already know you have a lot of love and support knowing your family! Be strong and keep up your faith, because we are all going to be on this journey with you. I love ya, and I am thinking of you often.
I personally like quotes whether they be good ones or stupid ones. So I am going to try and add some quotes along the way.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
In Psalms41:3 "The Lord will sustain him on his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness.
My nephew is in Jefferson Hospital in Philly just diagnoised with a rare form of Leukemia. He is 24. Matt has been finding certain scriptures to help me along the way. We know all things are possible . Twenty years ago his brother , Steve Markley also had Leukemia and was healed!! This has giving Matt great faith to be also healed.
We will continue to pray for Angela. I will put her on our prayer chain at church.
much love, In HIS Joy,
Maggie
Angie, Rick, Maddie, and Jacob,
I heard about the challenges you are facing and wanted to let you know that we will be praying for you in Illinois. Angie, I know how strong and positive you are whenever an obstacle is in your way. So, if anyone can get through all of this, it is you. You are one of the most positive people I have ever met. I count myself lucky to be your friend.
When you feel like you may not be up for the next challenge, take a breather and let God, your family and friends be your strength. One of my regrets is that I wish I were closer, if nothing else just to help with Maddie and Jacob. Please let others help you, even only if it is allowing you and Rick some much needed rest and watching the kids for an afternoon, helping with laundry, running an errand, etc. By allowing others to help in some way, you are allowing them to feel part of Team Angie (I bet you didn't know you were part of a team, well, you are). So, Angie and Rick, please take them up on their offers.
We will be thinking of you every day and sending our warmest thoughts to you and your family. As I sign off, I am envisioning tumors gone. Wait, what tumors?
Love,
Mary and the Rest of the Wiese's
