Positive News

From Rick this morning: Angie went to the hospital last night due to pain in her lung - there was fear that it might have collapsed again so they went to the ER. A scan was completed and it was determined that the lung did not collapse, no blood clots and everything is okay. The pain and some associated coughing may have been caused by some changes in the tumor.

The positive news is that it looks like the tumor is hollowing out - an indicator that the chemo and radiation are having a positive effect! The ER doctor needs to send the scan for an oncologist interpretation but this ER trip seems to have produced great hope!
