Update

Hi everyone, Rick here.... Just wanted to give you an end-of the-week update. Angie actually had a pretty good week (excluding Monday). She had stomach cramps and felt nauseated on that day. After receiving some fluids and anti-nausesa meds at her regular appointment, she felt much better. The rest of the week was actually quite good, her energy level was higher, her coughing has subsided quite a bit and her pain has also improved. Her chemo appointment was switched to Thursday, so hopefully the side effects will not be too bad for Christmas. We are also in the process of seeking out another opinion with a pulmonologist in Denver. I also wanted to thank everyone for all of the love, prayers and support that you have been sending our way. It is so good to know that there are so many friends and family members willing to help out in so many different ways. Thanks to everyone for all of the meals prepared, contributions to the cause, hours spent watching our kids, sacrificing hours at work, and all of the other things that I am forgetting. You all have helpd out tremendously and it is making a big difference in a time of unexpected crisis. We can feel your love and prayers, Thanks so much and we hope you all have a wonderful Christmas! Love Rick, Angie, Maddie, Ashley & Jacob.

Hey guys!

Glad to hear you are feeling OK. Its got to be hard to not have any clear answers on stuff, but you just need to have faith you are doing the right thing, and that this is going to work itself out. Have a good Christmas! --and thanks again for keeping us all updated!

hi, yes the frustrating part is that the doctor has not been able to identify the type of cancer..which makes things more difficult. It has been sent all over the country to i.d.-to the best places and no luck..although they have narrowed it down to a certain group of cancers. this menas they have to use a "shotgun" approach to treatment, instead of a more specific regimen. Ang really wants to talk to you..hopefully soon. Thanks, Rick

Hi! An answer will be found, I just know it. It's good to get another opinion and see what all your options are. More info = more power. We miss and love you! Laura and I are coming on January 10. Can't wait to see you!

Merry Christmas with love,
Sarah
