Purple Popsicle Sunday

The "Purple Popsicle Prayer" Sunday was incredibly wonderful for all who attended......very spirit filled, It was especially wonderful to have Rick, Angie, Maddie, Jacob, Angie's parents, brother and sister there among everyone. The 4th & 5th graders baked and served 300 cinnamon rolls and handed out 175 popsicles. A free will offering basket was available and people were very generous! More fundraisers are planned for April and May and will include out of town family and friends as well!

Angie starts chemo again tomorrow and will receive treatments Wed, Thurs and Friday before having a few weeks off again. Will report later this week to let everyone know how it is going.

Thanks to Marlene for the update from the Sunday event and all who volunteered to help put it together and coordinate it!

Hey guys! I wish we could be there to help out and attend events like this to show our support. We are just too far away. But you are in our thoughts and prayers daily. I check in here every day hoping for news and I'm so glad we are getting some good news! Let us know if there is ever anything we can do from afar and we'll do our best to get it done. I wish Rick luck with his student teaching... that's a job in itself! Angie, you stay strong and we'll keep praying.
