This week...

Angie will wrap up radiation this week - she goes daily Mon-Wed for this treatment. On Wednesday she will have a scan that will let all of us know how the treatment has worked. this scan will only focus on her abdomen and the hope is that the cancer is contained - we are looking to stop the spread. The radiation continues to Wed and Angie will not have a scan on her brain until the inflamation has decreased so it will be another week or so for her brain scan. If the cancer is reacting positively to the current regime of chemo then she will continue that next week - if not then a new regime of chemo will be prescribed and also started next week. Angie and her family have an appt with her doctors on Thursday to review the results of this scan and talk about next steps. This is a big week and everyone is a little nervous so send positive energy and thinking their way.

Hey Ang!

Well keep thinking positive, and do a lot of meditation on shrinking tumors. Really focus everything you have on fighting this. There have been a lot of ups and downs already on this ride....and more to come I'm sure. Don't worry about ANYTHING else, just focus everything you can on positive thoughts, and researching all modes of getting better (meditation, foods, hypnosis, herbs, WHATEVER!)

I'm glad that you are feeling better, and not in as much pain.

Please let me know if you need any help doing any research, or anything that I can do from here.

Love ya lots!
your bff

Angie and family,
Just wanted you to know that my little girl has remembered your name everynight for our dinner prayer. I think of you often and pray that this medicine is God's healing coming on.

Hi Angie! Thinking constantly about you and sending constant prayers and thoughts your way (yes, I do pray every day even though Ethan doesn't know what "church" is).

I was looking at our senior yearbook, and since laughter and even smiling are awesome medicine, here are some highlights of high school that you mentioned: dancing at Gold Rush and Alligators (how "cool" were we!), SLP Bike Patrol (natch), your trips to Okoboji (I still laugh at Laura's story of Kathy's ghost), and all the fun we had when my parents went out of town (sorry Jim and Kathy).

We're here for you and we love you so much!
Sarah
